Parallels
We believe that chess is not just the pieces and intricacies of the game, it is also a medium for learning how to approach the opportunities and problems we all confront. The ability for one to realize and then accomplish thier goals is essential to the arts and mathematics, while analyzing information to sew together logical conclusions is at the heart of all reading comprehension. Dealing with mistakes is realizing that one cannot go back and change what has happened. Instead, energy must be focused on finding the next best move. And success is not just stumbled upon, but is the reward to a well thought out and acted on plan.
